Bar Hutch Cabinet – Building a hutch bar allows you to create a more social atmosphere in your home. The hutch bar is constructed from a two-by-four frame with plywood attached to the outside and can be painted or stained to match your design ideas.
The construction requires very little material and everyday tools that basic. Lay four 48-inch two by four on their large surfaces in a 51 1/2-by-51 1/2-inch square bar hutch cabinet frame. Drill two holes through each edge and into the end of the board that adjoins it. Secure the boards together by drilling 5-inch wood screws into each hole. Repeat to create a second frame with the same dimensions. Lift both frames with an assistant. Put the frames 16 inches. Position a 16 inch two by four between each corner of the frame, with the large surfaces facing towards the sides.

Drill two holes in each bar hutch cabinet frame and each end of these short boards. Secure the short boards in place with 3-inch wood screws. Hold a 16 inch two by four between the centers on each side of the frame. Secure them in place using the same method. Place a 1/2-by-51 1/2-by-51 sheet of 1/2-inch plywood against the front of the frame and secure it to the frame with 1 1/2-inch wood screws.
